Pinterest POC

The following work is a concept created to support my application for the Senior Staff Product Design role at Pinterest.

Overview: Appeal to Pinterest DIYers and provide toolsets that allow them to more accurately apply their mood boards to a project. For example, a room that’s being redesigned. The user has collected inspirational pins, now they can generate their room based on their pins.

Business Considerations: Partnerships could be formed with relevant companies such as Lowes, The Home Depot, Sherwin Williams, Ruggable, and more in order to promote/advertise the tools needed to complete the projects. This could also tie in through personalization to give the user local recommendations to local companies. Additionally, the AI could generate step-by-step instructions with the tools and products needed to complete their projects.
